  SWEENEY TODD: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street

  Written by Composer and Lyricist Stephen Sondheim (Into the Woods, West Side Story), Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street is a 10 time Tony Award winning Musical Thriller based on a version of Sweeney Todd by Christopher Bond. A young barber’s (named Benjamin Barker) life is taken away by a jealous and powerful Judge. After being wrongly locked in jail for seventeen years, Barker seeks revenge when he returns to his home in London searching for the wife and child he left behind. What he finds is a world destroyed by the greed of Judge Turpin, and a widowed pie marker who vows to help Barker gain his revenge.
  
  Playing from August 5th-7th, 11th-14th at 8:00pm with matinee's on the 7th and 14th at 2pm. At the Octave Theatre, 711 Dalton Ave, off of Sir John A Blvd near the 401.
